And then without warning – fire!
They waved their hands, thousands strong.
All alight in bronze, gold, and scarlet,
Glowing as if painting the sky,
Normally a scudding grey,
With their passion.
And then without warning – gone!
The light eclipsed as suddenly as it came
And the whole world felt dark.

Miss,
Pardon the interruption; I only wish to tell you that this poem was breath-taking! I thoroughly enjoyed your imagery and the adjectival steps you utilized.
